  • 2 cups coarse besan
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
  • 10 curry leaves, finely chopped

  • salt to taste
  • coriander leaves, finely chopped

How to make Khasta Pakoda

  1. Mix all the ingredients together by adding water little by little. The mixture should be of a semi-thick consistency.
  2. Heat oil and make small balls like pakoda shapes.
  3. Deep fry these in medium flame till it turns a little crispy and becomes golden brown in color.
  4. Serve them hot with sauce.

My Tip:

keep the flame low to medium otherwise it will be golden color from the outside but raw from inside.
