Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup green moong daal
  2. 2 tbsp curd
  3. 2 green chillies
  4. 1 tsp ginger
  5. Salt as per taste
  6. 1 tbsp besan
  7. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  8. For topping---
  9. 1/2 cup chopped onion
  10. 2 tbsp grated carrot
  11. 1 green chilli
  12. 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
  13. 5-6 cherry tomatoes cut in halves
  14. Coriander leaves
  15. Salt as per taste
  16. Red chilli powder for sprinkle on uttapam


  1. Take soaked moong daal,curd, chilli and ginger
  2. Make a paste in mixi
  3. Add besan
  4. Add salt and baking soda
  5. And mix all of them
  6. Now heat a pan and grease it with oil
  7. Pour batter on it
  8. Top with onion,tomato carrot and capsicum
  9. Press a little all veggies
  10. Sprinkle salt and red chilli powder
  11. Cook from both sides by adding little oil
  12. Serve hot with chutnies
