ABOUT Amla Chutney RECIPE

Amla or nellikai chutney is very tasty and healthy goes well with rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gooseberry or amla 4 big sized
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Curd 1 tbsp
  4. Water
  5. Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  6. Ginger 1/2"
  7. Jeera chilli 1-2
  8. For tempering... Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  9. Coconut oil 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli 1/2

Instructions

  1. WASH, CHOP AND REMOVE THE SEEDS, THEN TRANSFER GOOSEBERRIES, CURD INTO MIXIE JAR
  2. ADD SALT TO TASTE, GRATED COCONUT, JEERA CHILLI, GINGER AND GRIND UNTIL SMOOTH
  3. TRANSFER INTO A BOWL AND ADD SUFFICIENT WATER AND MIX
  4. ADD TEMPER OF MUSTARD SEEDS INTO IT, MIX AND SERVE
