Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 bowl rice
  2. 2 bowl toor dal
  3. Singi [drumsticks] 250 gm
  4. mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  5. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  6. curry leaves [10]
  7. Coriander leaves [handful]
  8. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. tomatoes 2
  12. Amchur powder - 1/4 th tsp
  13. Salt
  14. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. Steam the rice bu boiling the rice in ample amount of water.
  2. Drain the starch out and keep aside.
  3. Now peel the drumsticks and chop them into pieces.
  4. Stuff it with half of the powdered maslas. Deep fry them in hot oil and keep aside.
  5. Now add little water, salt and rest of the masalas. Let this boil and add the drumsticks into it, let these get cooked, and dry up.
  6. Now boil the dal in a pressure cooker with required amount of water. Then to prepare the tadka, heat some oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and then little turmeric powder followed by the coriander leaves.
  7. Add this to the boiled dal, add little water, salt, brim upto boil and serve.
