Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For tempering-
  2. Oil
  3. 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  4. 1-2 dried red chillies
  5. for masala-
  6. 5 tablespoon mustard seeds,soaked for 15 min
  7. Garlic pods 8
  8. Turmeric pd
  9. Red chilli pd(optional)
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Water for cooking
  12. Main ingredient- tori 500gms


  1. First wash and peel and cut tori into small pieces, keep aside.
  2. Grind the presoaked mustard seeds with garlic,turmeric pd and red chilli pd with little bit of water.
  3. Take a pan, add oil.heat it, add tempering materials i.e mustard seeds and red chilli. Once the seeds splutter add the ground paste and cook by continuously stirring it..cook until the masala leaves oil..add salt to taste.
  4. Then add the chopped vegetable and mix well..cook for 2 minutes and add water, cover for 15 min..
  5. Check after 15 min and if required cook more if tori is still raw or its more watery..then serve
