About Malai hilsa Recipe

This receipe is very creamy taste, which totaly made by coconut milk. It is good to eat with hot rice

Malai hilsa

Ingredients to make Malai hilsa

  • Hilsa fish 2 pieces
  • 100 ml coconut milk
  • ginger paste 1 tabledpoon
  • cumin powder 1/2 tablespoon
  • 1/2 teaspoon black cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • mustard oil 4 tablespoon

How to make Malai hilsa

  1. First wash the pieces of fish
  2. Then marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder
  3. Heat a wok, add oil
  4. Then shallow fry the fish
  5. When we fry the fish, much oil come out from the fish
  6. Take out the pieces of fish from the wok
  7. Don't waste the wok oil
  8. In the same oil add black cumin
  9. Then add ginger paste, cumin powder mix well
  10. Then add coconut milk and salt
  11. The receipe will made full with coconut milk
  12. We will not use water
  13. When gravy became boil add fish
  14. When gravy become little thik , switch off the flame
  15. Take out the fish receipe from the wok and serve in a bowl
