Once again sharing a very famous street food kanda bhajji ...we all love having fried food during the monsoons so here is the recipe for crispy kanda bhajji

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cup thinly sliced onions
  2. 1 cup besan
  3. 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  4. 1 tsp red chili powder
  5. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp coriander cumin seeds powder
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Water as required


  1. In a bowl , add onion slices, besan and rice flour. Mix well. Onion should be well coated with both the flours
  2. Add dry spices , salt and mix well. Add little water and form smooth very thick batter
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan. Drop spoonfuls of onions in hot oil
  4. Deep fry over medium heat until golden brown and crisp
  5. Drain excess oil on absorbent paper
  6. Heat the oil on high flame and once again fry the kanda bhajjis just for a minute on low flame to make it extra crispy
  7. Serve hot with chutney/sauce
