Kaanda bhaji

Ingredients to make Kaanda bhaji

  • onion sliced - 2
  • besan - 1/2 cup
  • Rice flour - 2 tbsp
  • ginger, garlic, green chilli paste - 1 tsp
  • Ajwain - 1/4 th tsp
  • red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Kaanda bhaji

  1. Slice onion into thin slices. Then add salt and red chilly powder to the onions and keep aside for 5 mins. This procedure will make the onions loose some water and make them a little soft.
  2. Now mix rest of the ingredients into the onions, add very little water if required and then drop the onion batter into the hot oil, fry them crispy and strain them. Serve hot with some sauce.

My Tip:

If a spoon of hot oil added to the batter, bhajia will be more crispy
