As the name suggests,here two types of onion is used.one ic thinly sliced fried onion and another is thick pieces of sauted onion.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Lady's finger 250 grams.
  2. Thinly sliced onion 1/2cup.
  3. Onion cut in cubes 1/2cup.
  4. Green chillies 2nos.
  5. Red chilly powder 1/2tea spoon .
  6. Turmeric powder 1/4tea spoon.
  7. Oil 2table spoon.
  8. Salt 1tea spoon.
  9. Lemon juice 1/2tea spoon.


  1. Heat oil in a wok.add thinly sliced onion and fry to pink.add longitudinally slit green chillies.
  2. Cut lady's finger into transverse sections.addto onion .stir add spices and salt.stir well and cover .
  3. Cook on low flame.stir in between.
  4. After 5minutes add onion cubes stir .if require add alittle water cover and cook for another 4_5 minutes.
  5. Remove lid and fry for 1minute add lemon juice.
  6. Serve with roti/parathe.
