ABOUT Bangarpet Pani Puri RECIPE

Having lived in the south of India,I discovered an unusual type of pani puri.The water is do different that it is definitely gonna be a treat to your tastebuds.This is a traditional recipe from bangerpet,a place near mysore.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Luke warm Water 1/2 litre
  2. Green Chillies 6-7 nos
  3. Saunf 1 tsp
  4. White pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Garlic 6-7 nos
  6. Ginger 1 inch
  7. Cinnamon Stick 1-2 nos
  8. Boiled green peas 1 cup
  9. Boiled potato 1/2 cup
  10. Chaat masala 1 tsp
  11. Black salt 1/4 tsp
  12. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix the ingredients above cinnamon sticks.
  2. Grind them coarsely.
  3. Then put this mixture in muslin cloth.Properly tie it.Then put this in water and keep this for 2-3 hrs rest.
  4. Afterwards add black salt,and lemon juice according to your test.Then add normal water to this concentrated mixture.(less water for more spicy or vice versa).
  5. Mix the ingridents below cinnamon sticks on the flame for about 2-3 mins.Add little bit water and cook it.Your masala is ready.
  6. Reassembling Ready made puris ,make a hole Fill with stuffing then add grated coconut,grated carrot.finely chopped onion. Fill with yummy water AND RELISH IT.......
