Matar Paneer

Ingredients to make Matar Paneer

  • 200 gm paneer
  • 1 cup matar / peas
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • salt as required
  • one teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • A few whole Garam masala
  • a few coriander leaves
  • 5-6 oil
  • 6 tsp cream
  • 2 teaspoon ginger garlic Crushed
  • 3 chopped onions
  • water as needed
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder

How to make Matar Paneer

  1. HEAT 3-4 TSP OIL, ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, ADD WHOLE GARAM MASALA
  2. ADD 1 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS, SAUTE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN
  3. ADD SALT, 2 TSP CRUSHED GINGER-GARLIC
  4. ADD 1 CUP TOMATO PUREE, 1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  5. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER, SAUTE UNTIL THE MASALA LEAVES OIL
  6. ADD 1/4 CUP WATER
  7. ADD 1 CUP PEAS, COVER & COOK ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT FOR A FEW MINS
  8. ADD 200 GMS COTTAGE CHEESE CUBES
  9. ADD 1 TSP GARAM MASALA POWDER, 4-6 TSP CREAM, MIX
  10. ADD 2 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, SERVE HOT WITH ROTI OR RICE
