ABOUT Miso Soup RECIPE

Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup consisting of a stock called "dashi" into which softened miso paste is mixed. Miso is a soyabean paste. Soyabeans are soaked, crushed and fermented i.e Miso. Miso is very healthy and Japanese include this soup almost everyday in their diet. They have it for breakfast along with Sushi or Rice. I have given here a very simple version of Miso Soup with all the ingredients available in our kitchen. Most Japanese meals are served with a bowl of steamed rice and a traditional Japanese soup called Miso Soup. As the Japanese drink miso soup almost every day, different kinds of ingredients are added to miso soup depending on the region, season, and personal preference.
