Ingredients to make Chura matar pakodi

  • Beaten rice(chiwda) - 1 cup
  • Fresh green peas - 1/2 cup
  • onions - 2
  • gram flour - 1 cup
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - As required
  • water - As required
  • oil - For fry

How to make Chura matar pakodi

  1. In a bowl take gram flour.
  2. Add chilli, turmeric powder and salt.
  3. Add 1 sliced onion.
  4. Add enough water to make pakoda batter.
  5. Heat oil in a wok.
  6. Put some batter in oil using hand and fry.
  7. Fry all pakode like this.
  8. Pyaz pakode are ready
  9. In the same oil, put 1/2 of onion (chopped).
  10. Add poha/ chiwda in it.
  11. Sprinkle salt and fry chiwda till it become crisp.
  12. Remove from oil.
  13. Put remaining chopped onions in oil.
  14. Add green peas and sauté.
  15. Add cumin and chilli powder.
  16. Add salt and pepper powder and fry till peas become soft.
  17. Remove from oil.
  18. Enjoy hot chura matar ghugni and pyaz pakode.
