Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gram sarso saag
  2. 250 gram palak saag (spanich leaves)
  3. 250 gram bathua saag
  4. 3 cup water
  5. 1/2 cup maze flour
  6. 2 green chilli
  7. 2 tea spoon ginger
  8. 1/2 cup onion
  9. 2 chopped tomatoes
  10. 6 cloves garlic
  11. 100 gram ghee
  12. 1/2 tea spoon red Chilli powder
  13. 1/2 tea spoon garam masala
  14. 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
  15. 1/2 tea spoon corrainder powder
  16. Salt acc. to taste
  17. 2 cup maze flour
  18. Half cup wheat flour
  19. Salt acc. To taste
  20. 2 table spoon butter
  21. 1 tea spoon Kashmiri red Chilli powder
  22. 1 tea spoon ginger


  1. Add 3 saag , salt and water into pressure cooker nd cook untill for 5 whistle and after that cook over low heat for half hour.
  2. Squeeze out saag nd keep saag water aside. Nd grind it in a mixcer jaar nd make a thin paste.
  3. Now take a pan heat ghee add chopped onion nd ginger nd garlic sauthe untill onion become light brown Now add all dry masala nd cook.
  4. Now add chopped tomatoes nd cook for 2 min. Now add maze flour nd stir well.
  5. Now add saag paste mix well nd cook for 5 min. Add water nd cook for 10 min on slow flame. Saag is ready
  6. Now for tadka take a pan heat ghee add Kashmiri red Chilli powder nd Julienne of ginger heat well nd pour it on saag
  7. For maze roti. -- take a bowl add maze flour, wheat flour, salt, and luckwarm water nd kneed it well
  8. Make the round shape of makki roti on roller bord and carefully transfer it on twa nd cook with ghee till golden brown .
  9. Now serve hot sarso da saag with makki di roti nd pickle
