Gobhi-matar Pakora

Ingredients to make Gobhi-matar Pakora

  • One medium size cauliflower cut in florets
  • One medium cup of besan
  • half cup of peas
  • One teaspoon of salt
  • One teaspoon of red chilli powder
  • Half teaspoon of Chaat masala
  • Pinch of haldi
  • Half teaspoon of carom seeds( ajwain)
  • 250 grams of burnt mustard oil or refined oil

How to make Gobhi-matar Pakora

  1. first of all cut florets of cauliflower and keep it in boiled water with little salt in it for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Strain all water in a strainer from it.
  3. Switch on gas Keep deep pan on it with mustard oil or refined oil and let it burn when it becomes very hot then dip florets of cauliflower
  4. Now take another bowl put all ingredients in it except oil and make a medium paste with the help of water.
  5. Dip that florets and green peas in that besan paste and fry them.

My Tip:

Always put pakoras in hot oil(less oil will absorbed)then medium the flame and at last on high flame for good texture .
