Vatana Bhaji

Ingredients to make Vatana Bhaji

  • 2 cups dried Vatana soaked well and boiled in cooker for 4-5 whistles.
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 cup capscicum finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Pav Bhaji masala
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 3 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Vatana Bhaji

  1. Heat a pan and add some oil. Heat for a few minutes. Add the onions and saute well.
  2. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry until the raw smell goes away.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and capsicum and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add all the masalas as well.
  4. Add the boiled and pressure cooked Vatana. Add salt to taste.
  5. Sprinkle chopped coriander on top. Serve with pav bread and butter.
