Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Black gram 1 cup soaked overnight and pressure cooked
  2. Oil 4 tbsp
  3. Akkha jeera 1 tsp
  4. Hing a pinch
  5. Haldi powder a pinch
  6. Garam masala 1 tsp
  7. Aamchoor powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  10. Sliced onions 2 medium-sized
  11. Finely chopped tomatoes 2 medium-sized

Instructions

  1. Soak chana overnight and next morning pressure cook it with salt for 3-4 whistles.
  2. Take a pan, add oil, Jeera, Hing and sliced onions and saute well.
  3. When onions turn translucent add chopped tomatoes and all dry masalas except aamchoor powder and mix well.
  4. Let it cook cook for sometime.
  5. Turn off the gas and add aamchoor powder.
  6. Chhonk chana is ready.
