Ingredients to make Maggi Kanda Poha Kabab

  • 1 full packet Maggi noodle(Maggi masala keep aside)
  • 2 boiled potato(mashed nicely)
  • 1/2 cup poha(flattened rice)
  • 1 onion medium sized chopped
  • 1/2 tsp termeric powder
  • 7-8 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilli nicely chopped
  • 10-12 cashew crushed
  • 10-12 chopped golden raisins
  • 2 and 1/2 tsp cashew powder
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 or 4 tsp garlic bhujiya sev
  • 3 tsp fresh coriender chopped
  • salt to taste
  • oil for cooking
  • For coating, 2 tsp rice flour
  • 2 tsp Corn flour

How to make Maggi Kanda Poha Kabab

  1. Boil water in pan, add only full Maggi noodle pack and keep Maggi masala aside, now boil it just 1 and 1/2 min strain water from it immediately and wash the noodle in running water and keep aside it to cool.
  2. In other side wash poha in strainer and strain water from it and keep aside it also.
  3. Now in large mixing bowl take boiled and mashed potato add wash and strained poha in it, now add chilli flakes, lemon juice, chat masala, roasted cumin powder, cashew powder and salt in it.
  4. Now heat oil in pan add cumin seeds when cracked add onion, when translucent add turmeric powder, curry leaves and green chilli, now add crushed cashew and raisins in it and add this tempting in boiled potato and poha bowl and cover it immediately with lid to smell lock.
  5. now open the lid after 2 min add chopped coriander, garlic bhujiya sev and boiled strain Maggi noodle in it and mix well lightly and make round flat tikki of it.
  6. now in other bowl add rice and corn flour and make liquid mixture, now heat oil in tava or in pan, take one by one of kabab dip in rice and corn flour mixture and shallow fry this carefully till light brown in colour from all sides.
  7. Do with all and served it hot with sauce and chutney.

My Tip:

You can use fresh vegetables also and mix bhujiya sev last when going to cook.
