Its a colourful, healthy, filling, zero oil salad bowl which you will surely enjoy without getting bored of your diet routine. You can also carry it in tiffin as it even tastes so good when cool and is soo filling, good for a light lunch or dinner.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Broken wheat/ Daliya 1/2 cup
  2. Water 2 cup
  3. Chopped onion 1 medium
  4. Chopped tomato 1
  5. Finely chopped carrot 1 medium
  6. Coriander leaves 3 tsp
  7. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Red chilli powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and pressure cook daliya in the given quantity of water for 3 whistles on a very low flame.
  2. When the air from pressure cooker escapes on its own, open the lid and let the daliya cool down for sometime.
  3. Till it cools, take all chopped veggies, lemon juice, coriander leaves, salt and chilli powder, mix it properly.
  4. Add this mixture to daliya and mix well.
  5. Adjust salt and chilli powder.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy cool tasty healthy salad bowl.
