Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup daliya or broken wheat
  2. 1/2 cup moong dal..split nd husked green lentils
  3. 1 chopped onion
  4. 1 chopped green chilli
  5. Mixed vegetables of your choice
  6. I used cauliflower, carrots, potatoes and beans
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Black Pepper 1 tsp
  9. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  10. 1 tbsp mustard oil
  11. A sprig of curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Dry roast daliya and keep aside.
  2. Dry roast moong dal and keep aside.
  3. Take 1 tbsp mustard oil in a pressure cooker...
  4. crackle 1 tsp mustard seeds. And add curry leaves
  5. saute onions till transulent and add green chilli.
  6. Cut all veggies in cubes and add to pressure cooker
  7. Add required amount of salt and black pepper powder.
  8. Lastly add roasted daal and roasted daliya and 3 cups water.
  9. Pressure cook until 2 whistles are attained.
  10. Enjoy with curd, papad and pickle.
