Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Milk bread - 5 slices
  2. Full cream milk- 1 lt
  3. Sugar- 1/2 bowl
  4. Ghee for deep frying
  5. Cardamom 1/2tsp
  6. Saffron -10 strings
  7. Almond for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Trim the sides of the bread slices
  2. Cut the slices into triangles
  3. Deep fry them in ghee till golden brown
  4. In a heavy bottom, pan boils the milk with sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron.Stir continuously till milk reduces half
  5. Add fried bread in the milk wait till 30 sec and remove it. Arrange it on a serving tray
  6. Boil the left over milk till you get thick consistency
  7. Pour milk on the bread & garnish with chopped almond.
