A dal recipe with a difference, dalcha is synonymous to Hyderabad City. This is purely a vegetarians delight if made without mutton. It tastes equally yum. It can be relished with any veg side dish or fried items or even our Indian good old poppadums. In this particular dal recipe, mutton, dal and the bottle gourd are cooked separately and then combined together for that delicious dal called as dalcha here. I have used two different dals in this recipe. One can use even one single dal of their choice. I usually combine two or even more dals for that extra amount of protien content that is so very rich.
