Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken - 200 gms 
  2. Rice - 1 cup
  3. Mango - 1 riped
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp 
  5. Onion - 1 thinly sliced 
  6. Tomato - 1 slices in rounds 
  7. Green chillies - 1 chopped 
  8. Green and Red Capsicum - ¼ cup chopped 
  9. Carrot - 1 small chopped 
  10. Beans - 2-3 chopped 
  11. Thyme - ¼ tsp 
  12. Spring onion greens and coriander leaves chopped for garnish
  13. Oil - 2 tbsp 
  14. Water - 2½ cup
  15. Salt, pepper and lemon juice for seaaoning the chicken. 


  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper and lemon juice. 
  2. Wash the rice and soak them in water till further use. 
  3. Puree the mango reserving 5-6 small chunks of pieces. 
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add the chicken and sear them on both sides till the chicken changes its colour. 
  5. Add the onions, ginger garlic paste and green chillies and saute for about 2 mins. 
  6. Add the rice, mango chunks and saute for 2-3 mins. 
  7. Add the chopped carrots, beans, capsicums, mango puree, water and let it come to boil. 
  8. Season with salt and add the thyme and cook for couple of mins. 
  9. Layer the thinly sliced tomatoes, cover and simmer till it is done. 
  10. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and spring onion greens and serve.
