Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Puffed rice / Murmura 2 cup
  2. chopped onion 2 tbsp
  3. Chopped green chili 1 tbsp
  4. Mustard seed 1 tbsp
  5. Chana dal 2 tbsp
  6. Curry leaves 10 to 12
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  9. Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
  10. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  11. Oil 1/1/2 tbsp
  12. Fried peanuts 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a pan add mustard and chana dal as they splutter add chopped green chili and onion.
  2. Fry till light golden Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder stir and mix.
  3. Add murmura mix and sprinkle 2 tbsp water on it.
  4. Reduced the heat cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. After 5 minute open the lid add lemon juice mix well and turn off the gas.
  6. Now mix fried peanuts. Serve hot with tea.
