Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cottage cheese / paneer - 100 gms A
  2. All purpose flour / maida - 250 gms
  3. Chopped onion - 1
  4. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Chickpea flour - 1 tbsp
  6. Coarsely grounded coriander seeds - 1/4 tsp
  7. Coarsely grounded fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
  8. Garam masala - a pinch
  9. Milk - 1 cup
  10. Baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  11. Ghee / clarified butter - 1 tbsp
  12. Salt - to taste
  13. Oil - for frying
  14. Chopped coriander leaves - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil.
  2. Add onion n saute till transparent.
  3. Add chickpea / besan flour,fennel seeds,coriander seeds and mix well.
  4. Add cottage cheese / paneer,red chilly powder,garam masala and salt and saute till dry the cottage cheese/ paneer.
  5. Add coriander leaves and switch off the gas.
  6. Now stuffing is ready.
  7. In a bowl take all purpose flour / maida,salt ghee / clarified butter and baking powder and mix well.
  8. Add little amount of milk at a time and knead into a soft dough.
  9. Keep aside for 15 mins.
  10. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
  11. Stuff the filling in the dough and roll into balls.
  12. In a pan heat the oil and add the kachori lower the heat and fry till light brown.
  13. Serve hot.
