It is a sweet and sour combination with chilies. Everyone loves it. It can served with every meal.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Green chilies washed and dried 20
  2. Ginger 100 gms
  3. Salt 2 tablespoons- adjust
  4. Sugar 4 tablespoon
  5. Vinegar 2 tablespoon
  6. Mustard oil 2 tablespoon
  7. For pickle masala:
  8. Cumin seeds 2 tablespoons
  9. Aniseed 2 tablespoon
  10. Mustard seed (red) 3 tablespoons
  11. Carom seeds 1/2 tablespoons
  12. Hing 1 teaspoon


  1. Chop the chilies into two pieces and ginger into thin slices.
  2. Dry roast all dry masala and grind to powder. Add salt and sugar to powder and mix well
  3. Heat oil to burning point and switch off
  4. Add chilies and ginger into a clean and Dry bowl. Add masala and vinegar. Mix well.
  5. Add hot oil to pickle and mix well.
  6. Serve immediately or store in air tight container. Tastes best when kept for longer period
