Ridge Gourd Peel Chutney

Ingredients to make Ridge Gourd Peel Chutney

  • Peel of 3 Ridge Gourd
  • 1 tsp chana dal
  • 1 tsp urad dal
  • 3 to 4 green chili
  • 6-7 curry leaves
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp tamarind pulp
  • 1 tbsp jaggery
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil

How to make Ridge Gourd Peel Chutney

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Stir - Fry all the ingredients for 7 to 8 minutes over medium heat
  2. Allow to cool. Grind with little water and salt to form smooth chutney
  3. Temper with 1 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1 dry red chilies and 4-5 curry leaves. Add seasoning to chutney and Mix well. Serve
