Galouti kebabs are melt in mouth kebabs where you can use lamb's meat, mushrooms or Rajma along with herbs and spices. Galouti or Galawti itself means 'melt in mouth'.

Rajma Galouti / Red Kidney Bean Kebabs

Ingredients to make Rajma Galouti / Red Kidney Bean Kebabs

  • rajma 1/2 cup
  • Few mint leaves ( chopped )
  • green chillies 1/2( chopped finely )
  • ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • cardamom Powder A pinch
  • Warm milk 2 tsp.
  • potatoes , boiled and mashed 1
  • Few strands of saffron
  • Rose water 1/4 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • salt As per taste
  • cashew powder 2 tbsp.

How to make Rajma Galouti / Red Kidney Bean Kebabs

  1. 1 : Boil rajma along with green chillies, ginger garlic paste. 2 : Drain rajma and reserve ltitle liquid.
  2. 3:Blend it along with salt, red chili powder, Jeera powder. .
  3. 4:Add saffron in warm milk and add it to rajma .
  4. 5 :Add mashed potatoes, cardamom powder, rose water, cashew powder, mint leaves.
  5. 6 : Mix it properly and make it's balls. 7:Shallow fry them and serve with onion rings and mint sauce.

I tried them today for breakfast.. the mixture tasted quite nice but the moment i put it in tje karhai for shallow fry it all broke and crumbled up in the oil.. pls let me what shud i do next time.
