Aloo Fingers

Ingredients to make Aloo Fingers

  • Medium sized potatoes : 2
  • sooji : 4 tablespoons
  • chilli powder : 2 teaspoons
  • pepper : 1 teaspoon
  • salt : to taste
  • oil : required for deep fry

How to make Aloo Fingers

  1. Boil and mash the potatoes.
  2. In a pan, pour 1 glass of water and boil it. When it starts boiling add sooji little by little.
  3. Let the sooji cook.
  4. When cooked, add the mashed potatoes, chilli powder, pepper and salt. Knead into a soft dough.
  5. Shape the dough into long fingers.
  6. Deep fry shaped potato mixture in hot oil until it becomes golden in colour.
  7. Serve hot with ketchup and/or mayonnaise.
