Veg Biryani

Ingredients to make Veg Biryani

  • 250gram rice basmati long
  • Chopped onions-2
  • potato pieces- 2
  • Beans- 1/4 cup
  • saffron
  • curd
  • milk
  • pepper
  • Taj(cinamon)
  • Laung
  • Ilaichi big and small
  • Red Sabut chilly
  • salt
  • chilly
  • oil
  • 2/3garlic cloves

How to make Veg Biryani

  1. First take oil in a pan fry potato pieces and take out and keep in a side now fry long cut onion light pink and keep aside.
  2. Crush all ingredients for fresh Masala.
  3. Boil rice open and drain excess water and keep in a side. Let it cool.
  4. Dilute saffron in milk.
  5. In 2spoon fresh curd add salt, chilly and khada Masala.
  6. Now in a mitti pot make layers of first oil, boil rice, saffron milk pour on it, veg's layer. Beans boil with rice or dip fry. Mixing with curd. Again same layers.fried onion mix half in it. Cover pot with thick roti and put on tawa for dum.
  7. After 30minutes serve hot with all layers add fried onion which are left, serve with papad and raita

My Tip:

Adding khada Masala in curd and mix in rice that's give perfect taste. Don't add Masala without adding in curd. Add salt while boiling rice for better taste.
