Ingredients to make Idiyappam with tomato kurma

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil
  • ghee fir servung
  • Grated coconut
  • curry leaves
  • tomato kurma--
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 3-4 clives garlic
  • 1 /2 cup chop onion
  • 1 cup chop tomato
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cinnemon stick
  • For paste---
  • 7-8 cashews
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 2 tsp poppy seeds

How to make Idiyappam with tomato kurma

  1. HEAT WATER IN PAN
  2. ADD SALT AND OIL
  3. ADD RICE FLOUR
  4. AND MIX IT IN WATER AND COOK REGULAR STIRRING
  5. IT COME TOGETHER THEN TURN OFF GASGREASE MACHINE AND FILL WITH RICE DOUGH
  6. WITH BHUJIYA JALI MAKE IDDIYAPPAM IN GREASED IDLI MOULDS
  7. PREPARE ALL LIKE THIS BY PRESSING MACHINE
  8. NOW STEAM IT IN STEAMER FOR 15 MIN. OUR IDDIYAPAM ARE READY
  9. NOW TAKE PASTE INGREDENTS IN MIXI AND MAKE A PASTE
  10. HEAT OIL IN PAN ADD CLOVES AND STAR ANISE
  11. ADD RED CHILLI AND BAY LEAF AND CINNEMON STICK
  12. ADD LEHSUN ADD CURRY LEAVES AND ONION SAUTE THEM
  13. ADD GINGER PASTE
  14. COOK IT
  15. AND ADD TOMATO
  16. NOW COOK THEM TILL MASHED ADD HALDI AND CORIANDER POWDER
  17. ADD SALT AND GARAM MASALA
  18. ADD RED CHILLI AND HALDI
  19. NOW ADD GRINDED PASTE AND MIX IT FINELY
  20. AND COOK TILL ALL COMBINED
  21. ADD GHEE ON IDDIYAPAM
  22. AND SPRINKLE GRATED COCONUT
  23. SERVE WITH TOMATO KURMA
  24. GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES
