About Dal fry (dhaba style) Recipe

Very common but equally popular delicacy of North India.no meal is complete without it.

Dal fry (dhaba style)

Ingredients to make Dal fry (dhaba style)

  • Tur (arhar)dal 2cups
  • turmeric powder1tea spoon
  • red chilly powder1table spoon
  • tomato chopped one
  • Sliced onion one small
  • cumin seeds 1tea spoon
  • green chillies chopped 4
  • lemon juice 1table spoon
  • ghee 1/2cup.
  • Aesefitida one pinch.
  • salt 2tea spoon

How to make Dal fry (dhaba style)

  1. Wash and put dal in a pressure cooker
  2. Add turmeric powder ,salt and 2cups of water.
  3. Cover and copk for 3_4 whistles.
  4. Let pressure be released,meanwhile heat a pan and put ghee.
  5. Add chopped onion green chillies and aesefotida.
  6. When onipn is goldenn brown,add cuminseeds.
  7. After 10secconds add chopped tomatoes.
  8. Mix and pour over dal.add red chilly powder and lemon juice over dal .
  9. Serve with roti/steamed rice.
