Ingredients to make Kamalkakri (lotus stem) cutlet

  • 1 lotus stem
  • 3-4 boiled potatoes
  • 2 breadslices /1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • Lalmirch powder
  • Amchoor powder
  • Black pepper powder
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make Kamalkakri (lotus stem) cutlet

  1. Cut the edges of lotus stem wash it and boil for 10 min on low flame.
  2. Grate lotus stem and add boiled potatoes.
  3. Add wet bread or bread crumbs.
  4. Add all the spices.
  5. Give shape of cutlet and deep fry till golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with green chutney.

My Tip:

Do not leave grated lotus stem out so long.
