Mixed Veg Parantha

Ingredients to make Mixed Veg Parantha

  • wheat flour - 1/2 kg
  • 2 cups Grated veggies (Carrot,cabbage, Radish, Onion) & chopped green chilli-2, chopped coriander leaves
  • ghee - 2 tsps
  • Whey / Warm water - 1 cup or more as required
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cumin powder - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Refined oil - 1 tbsp

How to make Mixed Veg Parantha

  1. In a big bowl mix the grated veggies, salt, other spices.
  2. Add wheat flour, ghee to this and keep for 10 minutes
  3. Then add required whey /warm water and knead the dough. Allow to rest for atleast another 10 minutes.
  4. Using rolling pin & board to prepare the paranthas.
  5. Heat a tawa. Cook the paranthas on both the sides using few drops of oil/ghee until golden spots appear.
  6. Serve hot with curd/any raitha, butter, pickle.

My Tip:

You can also saute the veggies, cool and add to the wheat flour. or stuff the sauteed veggies in a ball of dough and make stuffed paranthas.
