Ingredients to make Rawa puri ( with pepper)

  • 3 cups rawa
  • 1 cups wheat 1cup maida
  • 3/4 cup crushed pepper(not powdered) can add more if want
  • 3 tbsp cummin seeds 1/2 cup til salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp ghee approximately Oil to fry
  • Little water

How to make Rawa puri ( with pepper)

  1. Mix all type of flours.Add to it all dry ingredients.Mix properly.
  2. Form well in center of mixed flour.
  3. Rub ghee with fingertips. And then rub with flour mix.
  4. Now,spoon by spoon add very little water and mix wirh flour.Don't pour water.With greased hand mix everything,Knead into soft,hard dough.
  5. Cover dough with wet thin cloth and keep aside for 15 mins.
  6. Now divide dough in balls.Grease rolling board, with rolling pin roll out round puris. Not so thin not so thick.
  7. With fork,knife...slit all over puris.
  8. Heat oil in kadai. Deep fry all rolled puries till golden brown / little pink redish hued.
  9. Let it cool.Pack them up in airtight container.

My Tip:

Can fry in ghee also. As it stays many day can carry for long travel, give kids for tiffin.
