Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sweet bun 3
  2. Butter 100 gm
  3. Onion 2 medium
  4. Capsicum 1 small
  5. Tomato 1 medium
  6. Soya granules 1/2 cup
  7. Potato one medium
  8. Cauliflower 5-6 medium florets
  9. Green peas 1/2 cup
  10. Salt 2 tspn
  11. Turmeric powder 1 tspn
  12. Red chilli powder 1 tspn
  13. Pav bhaji masala 1 tbspn
  14. Water 2 cups
  15. Green chilli 1
  16. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  17. Lime wedge 1

Instructions

  1. Soak soya granules in 1 cup of hot water
  2. Peel potato. Boil potato and Cauliflower in one cup of water till cooked
  3. Chop onion, green chilli, capsicum and tomato
  4. Put a kadhai on heat and add 50 gm of butter on medium heat
  5. Add chopped onion, green peas and capsicum and saute for 3-4 minutes
  6. Add tomato and saute till cooked
  7. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and pav bhaji masala and saute till masala leaves oil
  8. Add soaked soya granules and boiled vegetables and mix well
  9. Add salt and little water and bring to boil
  10. With a potato masher mash the entire mixture to a gravy consistency
  11. Remove bhaji from heat and keep aside
  12. Cut sweet buns into halves
  13. In a flat pan toast bun halves on both sides with butter
  14. In a serving plate, plate bhaji and garnish with chopped onion, coriander leaves, a dollop of butter and a lime wedge
  15. Plate buns along with it
