Methi Parantha (Indian Bread)

Ingredients to make Methi Parantha (Indian Bread)

  • Whest flour 2 cup
  • fenugreek leaves 1 cup finely chopped
  • Gram flour 2 tbsp
  • ginger chilli paste 1 tbsp
  • fennel powder 1tsp
  • turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • ghee 2 tbsp
  • hing 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • yogurt 4 tbsp
  • ghee for making parantha

How to make Methi Parantha (Indian Bread)

  1. Bring one bowl,add whest flour,grsm flour,ginger chilli paste,fennel powder,turmeric,red chilli powder,hing,salt and mix it.
  2. Add ghee and yogurt ,mix it.
  3. Add sufficient water and make a soft dough.
  4. Rest it for 18 mins.
  5. Divide the dough into equal portions.
  6. Coat esch portions with flour and roll out thick sheet.
  7. Heat tawa and roast each sheets both sides basting with some ghee for 30 seconds both sides.
  8. Serve hot with yogurt and pickle.
