Most Recommended Home Remedies to treat Backache!

Back pain is one of the most common ailments that plague people today. According to research, there is an 84% chance that an individual will develop back pain in life. Though pain-relieving sprays and medicines such as Crocin can be used to treat this problem, these are short-term remedies and they provide only temporary relief from back pain.

We bring to you 5 effective and natural ways which can help reduce back pain and provide long-term relief from this ailment-

1. Fenugreek/Methi

Fenugreek has natural anti-inflammatory properties and is also extremely effective in relieving pain.

How to use?

Take  1 tsp of fenugreek/methi powder and mix it in 1 glass of hot milk. To make it more flavourful, you can also add honey. Drink this milk every night.

 

2. Ginger

Apart from a host of medicinal benefits, gingerol present in ginger is a natural pain-reliever with anti-inflammatory properties.

How to use?

Steep ginger pieces in 1 cup hot water and add a little bit of honey for flavor. Drink this ginger tea twice a day. Alternatively, you can also use ginger oil to massage your back.

 

3. Basil Leaves

Oils present in basil leaves have pain-relieving properties that can help in the treatment of back pain.

How to use?

Take 1-2 tsp of Basil leaves and steep them in 1 cup of hot water. Drink this tea 2-3 times a day to reduce back pain.

 

4. Garlic

Garlic is often used to treat back pain because certain components present in garlic have natural anti-inflammatory properties and natural pain-relieving properties.

How to use?

Chew on 2-3 cloves of garlic every morning or crush garlic cloves to form a fine paste. Apply this paste on your back for 25-30 minutes and then wipe it with a damp cloth.

 

5. Turmeric

This humble spice is the new superfood. Turmeric contains curcumin, which in addition to its medicinal properties, also has anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.

How to use?

Mix 1 tsp turmeric in 1 glass of hot milk and drink it twice every day.
