The news of their wedding took social media by storm and their wedding pictures flooded social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. They celebrated their nuptials in a grand style by throwing two different wedding receptions for their loved ones back in India.
Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra never came out in the open about their relationship. Aditya Chopra has always avoided being in front of the camera. Rani Mukherjee also kept her connection with the Chopra family a secret. Rani and Aditya chose to get married in Italy in April 2015. Only very close friends and relatives of the couple were invited to attend their wedding.
The ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit, secretly tied the knot with Dr. Sriram Nene in October 1999. The marriage took place at an undisclosed place in The United States of America. After their marriage, the couple enjoyed a romantic honeymoon in the Hawaii Islands. After their marriage, the Dixit family hosted a grand reception in India. At the time she got married, Madhuri was at the peak of her Bollywood career. After completing her remaining assignments, Madhuri moved to the United States with her husband.
Bollywood’s beauty queen, Celina Jaitley, married Peter Haag who is a businessman from Australia, in July 2011. They dated for a long time before finally getting married. In August 2010, Peter visited India to meet Celina’s parents and this was the time he proposed to her. The couple then had their wedding at a 1000-year old Monastery in Austria.
Aftab Shivdasani and his wife Nin Dusanj were very open about their relationship. While on a vacation to Sri Lanka, they decided to tie the knot over there. The wedding functions took place in Tangalle Resort which is located on the South-Eastern coast of Sri Lanka. Aftab wore a Sherwani in white, while Nin wore a beautiful designer lehenga in baby pink.
Manisha Koirala married Samrat Dahal, who is a Nepalese businessman, in the year 2010. They were dating for a very long time before they decided to get married. They got hitched in Kathmandu, Nepal-Manisha’s homeland.
Bollywood was shocked when the news of John Abraham breaking up with Bipasha Basu, after being with her for 9 years, made it to the headlines. John then met Priya Runchal, an investment banker by profession, in the year 2010. After dating for 4 years, they finally tied the knot in 2014 in Los Angeles, USA.
