Eating curd or yogurt without taking extra sugar can prevent bad breath. Yogurt reduces the production of hydrogen sulfide in your mouth. This compound is responsible for the odor in your mouth.
Fennel has always been used as a mouth freshener. The antibacterial properties present in fennel remove the bad breath of the mouth. You can eat it directly by chewing it or you can have a cup of fennel tea.
A compound named Cinemic aldehydes oil found in cinnamon can eliminate the bacterias present in the mouth. Just boil 1 spoonful of cinnamon powder, cardamom and bay leaves. Now rinse your mouth this with water for a fresh breath.
Eating citrus fruits such as lemon, orange or grapes helps in creating saliva and reduces the dryness of your mouth. Lemon’s acidity obstructs the formation of bacteria. Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice and a pinch of salt in water and rinse your mouth with this mixture.
Clove has antibacterial properties which can remove mouth stench in minutes. Like fennel, you can add cloves to any food or add in tea and drink it.
One more home remedy is chewing green coriander leaves. Chlorophyll present in the coriander leaves removes the bad breath of your mouth. Eat the fresh leaves of coriander or drink green coriander juice.
