Milk Bikis is manufactured by Britannia and is distributed all across for consumption. Over the years, this biscuit has undergone many modifications both in taste and appeal. However, recently the Milk Bikis classic edition was relaunched in Tamil Nadu. This launch is a part of “ an ode to simpler times” which aims to revisit the childhood memories of eating the timeless Milk Bikis biscuit. The launch also happened in and for the people of Tamil Nadu after the popular demand and trending tags like #BringBackMilkBikisClassic and #MyMilkBikisMemories. Britannia’s vice-president of marketing, Vinay Subramanyam, revealed how: “The consumers of Tamil Nadu have grown up eating Milk Bikis. It is a brand with a huge emotional connect with the state”.
Vinay himself has grown up eating Milk Bikis. He said: “I used to have tea when I was six or seven years old. I used to dump some eight or so biscuits into the same cup of tea.” The Milk Bikis classic edition thus aims to bring back the same taste and appearance as that of the 90s. So, this limited edition will have the same floral pattern as the previous one. Vinay also revealed how they performed a survey and was surprised to see how people from Tamil Nadu are still nostalgic about this classic biscuit. So, here is the time for people of Tamil Nadu to revisit their 90’s memories with this limited edition of their favourite, Milk Bikis.
