Sameera Reddy’s Mother In Law’s Unique Suran Burger & Bhaji Recipe

Sameera Reddy is a popular face in Bollywood who has also worked in a number of Tamil and Telugu movies. She is a proud mother of two cute munchkins and keeps sharing adorable pictures of them. Sameera Reddy also shares a very cute relationship with her mother in law, Manjri Varde. She has posted a number of videos on Instagram where she is seen cooking along with her mother in law. She uses the title: “Messy Mama & Sassy Saasu” whenever she shares a video with her mother in law. Recently, she shared a video where her mother in law is seen sharing the recipe of suran special burger and bhaji. 

Ingredients Required For Making Suran Special Burger & Bhaji

Suran Special Burger

1. Suran – 200 g

2. Potatoes – 200 g

3. Salt

4. Onion – 1

5. Ginger and green chilli paste

6. Cumin powder – 1 tsp

7. Chopped coriander – 1 small cup

8. Burger buns

9. Lettuce leaves 

10. Bread slices

11. Tomato

Bhaji

1. Suran – 200 g

2. Potatoes – 200 g

3. Ghee – 4 tbsp

4. Cumin – 2 tbsp

5. Ginger and green chilli paste

6. Peanuts – 1 cup

7. Chopped coriander

8. Grated coconut

Suran Special Burger & Bhaji Recipe

Suran Special Burger

1. First, Sameera’s mother in law applied some salt on the peeled potatoes and suran and later allowed them to steam.

2. Next, she mashed the suran and potatoes.

3. Later, she added onions, ginger and green chilli paste, cumin powder, chopped coriander, and salt to the mashed potatoes and suran.

4. Then, she gave this mixture a shape and shallow fried the patties from both sides. 

5. Finally, she toasted the burger buns and added the fried patties in the between. She also added lettuce leaves, tomatoes and onions to the burger.

Bhaji

1. For making bhaji too, she first added salt to potatoes and suran and then steam cooked them.

2. Then, after heating ghee in a frying pan, she adds the ginger and green chilli paste, cumin, peanuts, suran, potatoes, and salt.

3. Later, she grates the bhaji with coriander and coconut powder and lets it cook for some time.

4. Finally, the suran special bhaji is ready.
