Shashi Tharoor recently shared a short and exotic description of bhel puri. Bhel puri which is a popular Indian snack is a favourite dish of many. But, when Shashi Tharoor shared the description of bhel puri, everyone was amazed at his use of words. Although, Tharoor says that he received this recipe on Whatsapp, yet the description of bhel puri is undoubtedly very rich in vocabulary.
The description of bhel puri is as follows: “exotic crispy puffed wild rice from the Western ghats rainforest…riotously festooned with a cacophony of Hyderabadi chickpea flavoured crunchies”. Furthermore, he said that bhel puri is seasoned with “sauce of sweet Kerala beach sand soil-grown tamarind & Malabar organic raw sugar”.
Shashi Tharoor captioned his Twitter post by calling bhel puri a dish: “good for weekend consumption”. His followers were in so much awe of this rich description of bhel puri that they requested him to share more such descriptions of different dishes with what they called a Tharoorian touch.
