Love is probably the most misunderstood of all emotions. Our perception of love is shaped by the movies we watch and the books we read. Everyone has different perceptions about love.  But one thing we do know is that love cannot be explained, it can only be felt.

We’ve all heard the saying that love is blind. In the case of these couples, it seems love was actually blind! But again, love is the only thing that matters. Isn’t it?

1) Boney Kapoor and Sridevi

Boney Kapoor’s second wife was the late Sridevi-the first female superstar of Bollywood. Boney and Sridevi got married when the late actress was already 7 months pregnant with their first child-Jhanvi Kapoor.

 

2) Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta

After his first wife died in a plane crash, businessman Jay Mehta married actress Juhi Chawla. The couple got married in 1995. Juhi and Jay have two children together-a daughter named Jahnavi and a son named Arjun. Jay looks much older than his wife Juhi.

 

3) Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder

Choreographer and director Farah Khan married Shirish Kunder in 2004. The couple have three children together-Czar, Diva and Anya Kunder. Their triplets were conceived via IVF or in-vitro fertilization. When the couple got married, people said that the only similarity between Farah and Shirish was the length of their hair!

 

4) Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap

After working together in movies such as ‘Dev.D’ and ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’, Kalki Koechlin married her director Anurag Kashyap. The couple’s marriage lasted for 4 years, from 2011 to 2015.

 

5) Uday Chopra and Nargis Fakhri

Nargis made her debut with the film ‘Rockstar.’ After her debut, Nargis went on to work in films such as ‘Main Tera Hero’ and ‘Housefull 3’. Uday Chopra, the son of the late producer Yash Chopra and the brother of producer Aditya Chopra, is known for his role of ‘Ali’ in the ‘Dhoom’ series. The picture above is enough to explain why this couple was one of the most awkward couples of Bollywood.
