Yoga is one of the most effective and most talked about forms of exercise in India. Practicing yoga is very good for physical well-being . However, in addition to this, yoga is also very good for the mental well-being of individuals.

1) Shilpa Shetty Kundra

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is one actress who regularly practices yoga. The actress has even made her own Yoga DVDs and sold them as well. On various occasions, Shilpa has talked about the benefits of yoga for the mind, body and soul. She has even talked about her own experience with yoga. The actress has also done yoga with Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev.


2) Kareena Kapoor Khan

Every morning, Kareena wakes up and does ‘Surya Namaskars’. Kareena credits yoga for her size zero figure in the films ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Tashan’. Not only has yoga helped the actress lose weight, but it has also helped her tone her body.


3) Malaika Arora

Bollywood’s ‘Chaiya Chaiya’ girl, Malaika Arora was introduced to yoga by her best friend Kareena Kapoor Khan. After learning about the benefits of yoga, Malaika made yoga an essential part of her workout routine. The actress does power yoga everyday and has become a ‘power yoga’ addict.  


4) Bipasha Basu

Before entering the film industry, Bipasha was already a fitness freak. The actress is very particular about her health and her fitness. 5) Lara Dutta

The Former Miss Universe, Lara Dutta, also practices yoga. The actress has her own YouTube channel where she regularly posts her fitness videos. Throughout her pregnancy, Lara regularly practiced prenatal yoga.
