It is always a delight when you take that sip of soda with your cheesy pizza or that tangy twisty tomato blended pasta- the best combination you can ever have! But what most of us don’t realise is that how dangerous these combinations can be for our health. They make us feel heavy and lethargic. Most of our common food combinations such as bread jam, a glass of orange juice with oats are not as good as they taste. What they create is the toxicity in the body and give rise to several diseases and their after-effects are more harmful than we can imagine.
Combining food for ourselves is a health-conscious approach to eating, where foods that require different digestive environments are eaten separately. If we see there are various food combination theories that have somewhat controversial views, however, there are some points that they agree upon.
Basically, no one in their right mind would ever think of eating these foods together if they knew what would happen in our digestive system. Some of the immediate consequences of bad food combinations are digestive un-ease, gas, bloating, stomach ache, nausea, fatigue, and problems with elimination.
Here’s a list of food items which we must avoid in a combination:
Bananas and milk.
According to Ayurveda, this combination of having banana and milk together is one of the heaviest and toxin-forming combination. Both of them together create heaviness in the body and slow down the mind. Always make sure that banana is very ripe, and add cardamom and nutmeg to stimulate digestion, if you are a fan of milk-based banana smoothies.
When it comes to this combination, a lot of us are guilty of it. A pizza without a fizzy drink is really hard to think for us. Carbohydrate content in the pizza along with proteins and starch take up a lot of your body’s energy for digestion. The sugar in the soda slows down digestion and the other processes of our stomach.

You heard it, this most favourite combination which serve you the best meal is not good for the body. The delicious Pasta is rich in starchy carbohydrates and is very difficult to digest. The tomatoes which are extremely acidic can cause hindrance in the digestion of starch and cause bloating.
Fruit after a full meal:
A fruit after a full stomach is a bad idea. Eating fruit after a meal doesn’t combine well with other foods since it requires no digestion and causes the other food to stay in the stomach for a long time.
Potato fries have sugar and they create cytokines which cause inflammation and also speed up the aging process. Moreover, both the foods have trans-fat as both are deep fried ( the patty of the burger and fries both) which lower the blood sugar levels and more often makes you feel exhausted and sleepy.
So, avoid eating these things together in a combination. Better be safe and not sorry. You should follow certain basic food combinations to be on the safe track of matters because some food combinations are really dangerous, even can be fatal.
