6 Unique Ways to Regulate Periods

3) Cinnamon Powder

Cinnamon powder is a warming spice and it is primarily because of this reason that cinnamon can be used to regulate menstrual cycles. Mix 1 tsp cinnamon powder in 1 glass of hot water and consume it. Alternatively, you can also add tea bags into this drink. Doing so will not only help in regulating periods but it will also provide relief from menstrual cramps.


4) Raw Papaya

Raw papaya contains nutritious elements such as iron, keratin, calcium, Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Consumption of raw papaya provides relief from menstrual cramps and makes the uterine lining softer. Before your periods, consume raw papaya with your breakfast or with tea to reap the benefits of this fruit.


5) Turmeric

Turmeric is one of the most beneficial spices in Indian history. Turmeric has a host of medical benefits and one of these benefits is regulation of menstrual cycles in women. Mix ¼ tsp turmeric in 1 cup of water. To remove the bitterness of turmeric, you can add a small amount of warm milk, 1 tsp honey and a little bit of jaggery to the water. Regular consumption of this drink will help to regulate periods.


6) Bitter Gourd/Karela Juice


Bitter Gourd Juice can also be used to treat the problem of irregular periods. If you regularly consume Bitter Gourd juice, the problem of irregular periods will be treated in a short span of time.
