The need to escape the arclights every now and then and return to a simpler life has lead many of our stars to take up farming. These celebs are not only helping the environment by whole heartedly supporting farming but have gone further in even adopting it!
B-town celebrities keep participating in go-green activities while raising awareness about the environment. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, however, is one step ahead in being close to nature. If he’s walking the red carpet at Cannes one day, a few weeks later, you’ll find him, tilling the soil or harvesting tomatoes at his farms in UP. This humble actor goes back to his roots when he is not facing the cameras. Siddiqui harvests rice, wheat, millets and a whole range of vegetables, which he sends home and also sells at local markets. The actor is also clear that when he finally bids adieu to the screen, he will return to the land because it’s in his blood!
This unconventional and hugely popular international actor is also a farmer. Irrfan Khan owns a farm where he tests out various farming methods, reads about harvesting seasons and tries to use low water and drip irrigation systems to grow his vegetables and fruits
This Himachali beauty is making puts in a lot of effort at organic farm at her home in Manali. She has planted apple trees apart from various fruit and vegetable trees across the area.

The Kai Po Che actor has recently began organic farming at a land brought in the outskirts of Mumbai. The farm has a lake attached and he has been testing out new farming methods and taking his telescope out to the area to stargaze under clear, unpolluted skies.
