Almonds

It enhances the flavors as well as the nutrient value of cool beverages such as sharbat and almond milk. Almonds have a bunch of vitamins and minerals packed in them and they provide fats to the body. Consuming almonds in limited quantity can help you in lowering blood pressure, controlling cholesterol and in protecting the body from various disorders and diseases. Eating 4 to 5 almonds daily is good for your body but when consumed in excess, it can increase the body heat thereby leading to various internal problems.

It is better to eat soaked almonds in summers to take advantage of every nutrient as well as oil present in them. So, this summer let your skin glow, your hairs shine and your smile grasp the attention of your admirers by consuming almonds.

Cashew Nuts or Kajus

Your grandparents might have restricted you from eating cashews in summers as it can upset your stomach. But, now you don’t have to stop yourself from eating your favorite nut in the summer season.

Cashew nuts are a good source of fat and they are rich in minerals such as magnesium and calcium. It makes the heart healthier and bones strong. Cashews also provide Vitamin E and various antioxidants to the body which protects it from the risk of cancer. But, consuming cashews in excess can heat up the body. Thus, you should try taking it with desserts, brownies or kheer in a limited quantity during summers.

Walnuts

One of the oldest nuts, walnuts should not be excluded from your diet just because they are rich in calories or are densely rich in fat. Apart from that, walnuts have myriads of nutrients packed in every bite. Walnuts enhance the body’s metabolism and protect the heart from various diseases. These nuts are rich in Vitamin B7 thereby acting as good food for hair and it prevents extreme hair loss. Most of the people are suffering from insomnia these days. For them, walnut is a good source of improving sleep.
