Latest Diet Tips by Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Dietician Rujuta Diwekar!

Just as a strong building can be built only on a properly laid foundation, similarly a healthy diet helps to strengthen our body. Kareena Kapoor Khan’s  dietician Rujuta Diwekar also believes this and this time she has given a “Diet Chart” that keeps you healthy under any circumstances.

Summers are here and Rujuta has given an 8 meal Diet chart that will help us to maintain and reduce our weight. This, in turn, will make us more slim and attractive. According to her new diet chart, you do not have to force yourself to go to the gym but follow a healthy 8-meal diet plan, which will give you beautiful skin and a healthy body.

 

1) Meal 1

What to eat?

Fresh fruits, dry fruits and nuts soaked in water.

When to eat?

Within 15 minutes after waking up in the morning.

 

2) Meal 2: Breakfast

What to eat?

Homemade breakfast such as Poha, 1 Egg Omelette (by removing the yellow part), porridge, idli, dosa or 1 paratha and ghee.

When to eat?

Within 60 to 90 minutes of having Meal 1.

 

3) Meal 3: Mid-Meal

What to eat?

Something that can be easily taken anywhere such as nuts. Coconut water is also very beneficial.

When to eat?

Within 2 to 3 hours of having breakfast.

 

4) Meal 4: Lunch

What to eat?

Rice or bread + Vegetable or meat or lentils + along with curd / pickle + ghee.

When to eat?

Within 2 to 3 hours of having Meal 3.

 

5) Meal 5: Mid-Meal

What to eat?

Seasonal drink (any drink made from fruits) or buttermilk.

When to eat?

Within 2 to 3 hours of having lunch.

 

6) Meal 6: Evening Snacks

What to eat?

A filling meal, something similar to the breakfast in the morning. (Please see the above options)

When to eat?

Between 4 p.m to 6 p.m. in the evening.

 

7) Meal 7: Dinner

What to eat?

A dish made from rice or millet + Ghee

When to eat?

2 to 3 hours before sleeping.

 

8) Meal 8: Before Sleeping

What to eat?

Chyavanprash or cashew or gulkand with hot milk

When to eat?

Before sleeping, only if you are hungry.

 

Apart from this, Rujuta also shared some other tips which are very new and effective : –

  1. Never start your day with tea or coffee. Try to start your day by having some soaked almonds, raisins or banana.
  2. Include ghee in your diet, without any fear and without any doubt but in a limited proportion.
  3. Limit the use of gadgets.(Mobile phone, laptop etc.)
  4. Keep your body active, avoid being lethargic.
  5. Adopt these 3 rules of a kitchen – Reduce the use of plastic, use a saute pan (Kadhai) made of iron and avoid heating the food in the microwave.
  6. Practice “Surya Namaskar”. (A posture in yoga)
  7. Bring 3 fats back into your life – Mustard oil, take cashew nuts before going to sleep and eat coconut.

Remember the biggest investment in the world is to “Invest in your health” because it will never result in any loss. Moreover, investing in your health will always help you to stay fit and to live longer.
